The Trailgate was designed by Steve Bower, who is the father of two sons. He needed to haul three dirt bikes and he didn't have a trailer. So, he invented the Trailgate to haul the family to the track and trail in his extended cab Dodge. Steve, along with Rick Haskins are now developing the TrailGate for the rest of the world in Bell Vernon, PA.
